Ain-Shams University


In July 1950, Ain Shams University was founded as the third-oldest non-sectarian native public Eyptian University in Egypt. In the past, the site of the Ain Shams University was formerly a royal palace called Zafarana Palace. Throughout the years, Ain Shams University had a number of faculties and academics institutions which were later have develop into a university. The university’s academic structure includes 14 faculties, 1 college and 2 high institutes plus 12 centers and special units.
